Topper Catalpa in training
at Sander Marijnessen! (20 augustus 2011)
A few weeks ago the great keur Catalpa BH (Briar x Ferro x Donnerhall)
is in training at the stables at Sander Marijnessen. This mare Briar has
three great courses, and has great potential for the future. Catalpa was

Catalpa BH got 85 points for movement (22 juni 2011)
The most striking
four-year-old mare was Catalpa BH (Briar and Tomentosa from Ferro), who
scored 85 points for movement
"This mare with long lines, maybe a bit short legged, but impressive in
its movements and dressage attitude"

Zygrande le Coupied second
in KNHS / Subli championship 10 february 2011)
Judge Jan Enne Kloosterboer says "What a horse!" about Zygrand le
Coupied owned by Ceylan Avinal. Ceylan presented herself last August for
Turkey at the World Championships for young dressage horses in Verder (Germany).
He scored his highest rating at the trot. Zygrande did see a lot of
charisma and technique. The brown gelding showed a good self-carriage.
The son of Tomentosa le Coupied was also confirmed in the exercises
properly.
Zygrande found (9 february 2011)
Zygrande Le Coupied has
been found. The stolen Dutch warmblood gelding of Roosendaal based
Turkish rider Ceylan Avinal has been retrieved after an anonymous tip.
Avinal could release little extra information because of the ongoing
police investigation. “Everything seems alright. He appears to be fit
and nothing special seems to have happened to him,” a relieved Avinal
reported. “I’m incredibly grateful that thanks to the media so much
happened in a short period of time. These were the hardest days in my
life.”
Zygrande Le Coupied stolen (7 february 2011)
The 6-year old Dutch
warmblood gelding Zygrande le Coupied (by Krack C x Ferro x Donnerhall)
has been stolen on Saturday evening 5 February 2011. Dutch based and
Turkish born Ceylan Avinal experienced the shock of her life when she
discovered her talented 6-year old had disappeared from its stall at
home in Roosendaal, The Netherlands. Horses.nl reported that
Avinal has suspicions who could have done this, but so far there is no
evidence. "This robbery has been planned meticulously because even
Zygrande's passport has been stolen from out horses," Avinal told
Horses.nl. "We went to the police and are trying to post this news
everywhere. Today we'll be going to the Dutch Equestrian Federation and
KWPN to report this, concerning papers and registration."Avinal rode the
licensed stallion Zygrande Le Coupied at the 2009 Pavo Cup Finals and
represented Turkey at the 2010 World Championships for Young Dressage
Horses in Verden. In December the pair became the reserve champions at
the incipient 20110 Subli Young Horse Championship at Z-level.
Zygrande represents Turkey at WC in Verden (24 August 2010)
Zygrande le Coupied represented Turkey at the World Cup in Verden, Germany. We congratulate our Zygrande and Ceylan Avinal with this great achievement.

Zygrande back to the Netherlands (18-08-2009)
Rifinitura sponsors Ceylan with her new top dressage horse Zygrande Le Coupied. They will present themselves together with the rest of the 5-year olds in Ermelo on Wednesday, August 19. Zygrande selected for Pavo cup (12-08-2009)
Recently Zygrande was selected for the Pavo cup on the NMK in Elmelo. In Sevenum (Limburg)
Zygrande was the first added to the the selection. The Pavo cup delivers an unique opportunity for four
and five-year-old dressage horses to show their ultimate performance. The preselections take place
every year during the 'Centrale Keuringen' in the Netherlands and during the KWPN horse days in Ermelo.
Zygrande in the race for Dutch Next Top Horse (28-06-2009)
Recently there was held a modelling game for horses: Dutch Next Top Horse. This game was initiated in favour
of the 100-one year old existence of Concours Hippique in Hoofddorp. The game has nothing to do with the
capabilities of the horses. It was actually a fungame! However horse owners submitted an application form
massively. Also the current owner of Zygrande posted a form. Eventually Zygrande did not compete for the final

Pixireina became a
Star-mare (17-06-2008)
Unfortunatly Pixireina (Julio Mariner xx x Cireina pref prest v. Amor)
was not selected for the half-breed
testing in Wamel.Therefore she was presented in Alblasserdam. In Alblasserdam she earned the
Ster-predicate.
Zygrande seen on EFO Meerlo (13-06-2009)
On the 13th of June 2009 the second selection game of the EFO competition in Meerlo was held.
On that day Zygrande was presented by Chantal Safranski. The ruin Zygrande Le Coupied had been bred
from the elite mare Tomentossa (Ferro x Donnerhall) by Haras Le Coupied and is now owned by
D. Mohimont in Vinalmont [B]. Zygrande became third in that fierce competition.
Jolanda Jongerman Champion of Gelderland? (25-01-2009)
At the selection for the Gelderland championships Jolanda Jongerman
started with Simply Red in the
Z2 class dressage. She earned a second position with 208 points and she became champion of the
North East Veluwe region.

Jolanda Jongerman started in Wezep (the Netherlands) at a selection game. She received the first
price with Simply Red (one of Cireina's foals).
Cireina still going strong (31-12-2007)
Cireina will have her sixteenth foal in 2008. A great achievement.
Catalpa is born (01-07-2007)
Our mare Catalpa by Briar is born. After selling 'Tomentosa' to the Black Horse Stables
of our friend Jan Vink, a part of the deal was that we kept a part in this unique bred filly.
A pedigree formed by Briar-Ferro and Donnerhall. Three top Olyimpic giants in dressage
history, based on a produced 'Exquis Nadine' (gold medal winner team gold European Championship 2007)

Tomentosa vice-champion of Drenthe

On the last Central testing of this year in Exloo Solinde (Kennedy x Belisar) of breeder/owner
H. Vos and J. Vos-Pronk became champion of Drenthe. Solinde already became a champion
on the Herdbook testing (80 points for exterieur and 82 points for movement.
The reserve-title was given to the correcty built and charming Tomentosa le Coupied
(Ferro x Donnerhall) of Haras Moulin du Coupied and Joska the Vos. She showed a very good movement
and she showed those movements round after round. Six Drenths three-year olds accompany
Tomentosa to the National mare testing.
